I got my Decklink SDI card in last night, installed it in a PCIexpress 2.0 slot and tried to install the software and failed. The driver installed fine, and I can see the card as a device in Media Express, but when I try to install the DesktopVideo 9.8 software (or the 9.7.7 that was on the CD) I get an error 2753 and the installation fails. I also can't see any preview in Media Express and if I try to blind record anyway, it gives me only black video on playing back the AVI file in WMP so it isn't seeing my ATEM feed to the card.
This is an HP Z400 with a Blackmagic ATEM 1 M/E also connected, whose software installed perfectly fine. I can't get my USB 3.0 card to work with it, but that's unrelated (see thread 'Getting USB3.0 to work with ATEM 1 M/E' if interested or can help).
I ran across a couple of 'fixes' online, most of which involved downloading software so I passed. I did, however, try this site's suggestion (http://www.ehow.com/how_5047270_fix-internal-error.html), which apparently re-starts/repairs the DllRegisterServer dll file, but no joy.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jeff
