Veronica Mars Season 4 is coming to Blu-Ray and DVD this fall. Here’s when to grab your copy of the polarizing revival.Whether you’re one of the Marshmallows that’s been burned by the fourth season of Veronica Mars or you melted into a gooey mess at the revival season’s hard decisions, there’s no denying that you will want to add to your DVD collection of the series. Even though Season 4 streams exclusively on Hulu, the season will be coming to DVD and Blu-Ray this fall, and that’s cussing great news.Veronica Mars Season 4 will be released on DVD on Tuesday, Oct. 22 as “The Complete First Season.” Of course, that’s more than a little confusing, and with any luck, Warner Bros. Will clear up the titling ahead of the release. While the DVD set will be available on retail shelves nationwide, the Blu-Ray set will be available via Warner Archive, meaning the MOD release will only be available for purchase online. As of this writing, the Veronica Mars Season 4 DVD currently isn’t though you can get your pre-orders in over at for a reasonable price point of $18.99.

Thankfully, on top of the eight episodes, there will be some special features on the sets, including the cast at Comic-Con. Additional features, if any, haven’t yet been announced. But with this funny crew, let’s hope there will be a hilarious gag reel full of non-censored cuss-bombs.Since the season’s early release on July 19, longtime fans of the series have been split in response to the revival’s controversial ending. (Don’t worry, we’re keeping it spoiler free ’round these parts.) The revival season finds Veronica (Kristen Bell) in full private investigator mode as she and her father (Enrico Colantoni) look into plaguing Neptune during spring break.

Throughout the course of the eight episodes, Veronica’s thrown multiple curveballs, many of her own making, and Bell settles back into our girl’s leather jacket and steely glare with enviable expertise. If she doesn’t score an Emmy nomination for her marvelous work in Season 4 (as well as The Good Place), it’s a cussing/forking crime.Despite the mixed fan reaction to the events of the revival season, Veronica Mars’ comeback holds a stellar 89% on Rotten Tomatoes, translating to widespread critical acclaim. And it’s true: Even though you may disagree with the direction the series might take in, you have to admit the storytelling is as sharp as ever.
